Need new tranny for 83 5.0, which one?

Hello everyone, I currently have an 83 V6 mustang with automatic tranny. Im going to be swapping in a 302 soon (the car is a v6) and i need a transmission. Im not sure what transmission will fit in my car. I would like to do a manual conversion but its not neccasary. I beleive 83 had an option for a 4sp manual and my car is (was) automatic. I would like to use a 5sp transmission instead of the optional 4.

Later year 5.0 mustang 5speed trannys will most likely work perfect right? So would it be a good idea to get a junkyard 5spd tranny and buy a new stronger clutch and lightweight flywheel? Because that seems to me like the most cost effective route to take.

I am swapping in a CARBURATED 302, so realy all i need to know is if a 5sp from a FEUL INJECTED 302 mustang will work with that engine and it also has to fit into an 83 mustang.

thanks alot!
