95 Taurus Tranny Problem
My Son Has A 95 3.0 Taurus. His Tranny Is Acting Up. It Was Working Fine One Minute, Next Time He Drove It, It Worked In Rev And 1st But Wouldn't Up Shift. When I Test Drove It, It Acted Like (above 30 Mph) A Stick With The Clutch In (just Reved). When The Rpms/mph Were Right It Locked Into 1st Again.i Tried Using The Shifter From 1st And On Up With The Same Results. He Hasn't Much Cash, Is It A Tranny Or A Simple Fix, Like A Sensor? There Isn't A Check Engine Light On.

Quote:
3 trany's in my 95 tourus, cheak your and see if you need to add trany fluid it might be low, and if your trany stick is on the floor, like if it goes 1st, drive, then overdrive, then nutral, revers, and then park, put it in first and when rpm's get high, push it out of first then back into first, then it should shift into second gear, if not, any of that, get another trany like me, i was racing mine and burned the plates out, later. |
