some questions

got a couple questions, maybe more than a couple but lets get on with it. I heard that a car can have both a turbo charger and a super charger at the same time, is this true, and if so, does it make the car more powerful or less. Another question is does anyone know where I can get cheap performance parts, but good quality shit, not cheap as in cheap but cheap as in price, for a 92 240sx, and that delivers fast. if I get a stage 2 turbo for the 240sx how much do you guys think its worth, its all custom, and will give me 320hp at the rw, Im about to pay between 3-4g's with installation and a hookup, and am wondering if this is a good price or not. Im not sure what it will include, but im guessing to make 320 on a stock ka motor it would have the works. another question is, after i get a turbo installed, what is my next step as far as engine work goes, what will my specs be after each upgrade that you guys list, as in if new cams are added how much more hp/ft-lb will it give, or new headers etc. that pretty much covers my questions for right now, hope you guys can answer them all, it is greatly appreciated, thanks alot

these are questions, to you, not answers. and I never said that a turbo and a super charger will give less horsepower or more, I was asking someone what the results are going to be, you never know, to much of something will give less output sometimes. By the works, I mean everything that a turbo kit should contain to give that much power, cause not all turbo kits will result in the same power "safely" without having the essentials to support it. As for the headers, Im not refurring to the turbo, if you read my questions you will know that I asked "after the turbo is installed, what are my next ENGINE upgrades". Do I have to break everything down into simple terms to get answers.

First of all a turbo is going to sell for at least 3 grand a nice one im pretty sure that a greddy sells for around there (3-4K) but for your other questions it depends on where you buy them from diff manufactors have diff hp increases...sometimes...and as far as what you should do when you get your turbo, its all up to you, it depends on how much boost your plannin on runnin and if itll be a daily driver.

i think you need to do some more research because your asking all these questions like you dont have a clue...your buying a turbo kit, but yet you dont even no what all it comes with???!!!!! sounds like a rich kid whos parents buy him what he wants. Anyway you might want to invest in some electronics safc, turbo timer etc. bigger exhaust, pistons, metal gaskets....we really cant answer your question because we dont know what your kit consists of already. Find out what your getting...why wouldnt you in the first place?

first off, I am not a little rich kid, everything I own, what little I own is bought by me, from the money I earned. second, I dont know whats in the turbo kit cause I havent gotten to the point of asking, must have the money in my posession, then I will start asking those questions, my questions are hypothetical, as in, I ask a question based on "what if", like what if i get a turbo that gives 320hp and is safe to run, does it really matter what it has in it, cause if its safe and has been proven to work safely, and gives 320hp, does it really matter what it contains. and as for me being an asshole, Im not, I asked a question, I got a shit answer, therefore, I rephrased the question. I appreciate the people who give answers to my questions, these are the people who help a person get started in something they want to do. Yes im a newbie, i never said I was a professional knowing all, thats why i ask questions, they can be stupid, they can be good, but how does a person learn anything without being taught, all of you learned somehow, so dont be talkin shit, thats what these forums are for, to help. now back to what i was asking, my car will be a daily driver, i have the apexi N1 exhaust already, I am doing some suspension work, as in new KYB struts, Tein tie rod ends, and tanabe lowering springs(1.5 rear, 1.2 front), and thats it as of right now. My next step is the turbo step, but assuming I get the turbo, what is my next step after that. cause i am getting the turbo kit from a professional custom fabrication shop, and they have been working on ka motors for sometime, and have a kit already to go, I dont care whats in it right now cause I dont got the money for it yet, so its not the main thing on my mind, but if you helpful people out there really need this info, I can get it for you. thanks again

2. its called turbo/exhaust manifold, not headers, for a turbo.

3. There are TONS of places to find aftermarket parts, especially for a 240sx (r u shittin me?) google ne one?

4. im sure nissan fanatic and TatII could tell you 3-4k is a pretty steep price. Go on ebay and such to peice part your turbo kit together.

5. if you do get 320 rwhp then your gonna have to do internal work.

6. As for you wanting to know the specs after each upgrade? how the hell are we going to know that, especially if we dont know what parts your putting on.

my best advice is to look at what other people have done to turbo charge their ka. Look at what they did and the steps they took, let other people make the mistakes before you, to save you time and money. In the meantime, be nice to people and be respected to get better results when asking questions.

well like i previously said we cant tell you what to get because we dont know what is in the kit. Does it come with any electronics??? pistons??? just read my post i previously stated. Do you get what im saying??? We might tell you what to get but then again you might be already getting it with in the kit.....as far as not turbo shit maybe you could get a clutch, flywheel, driveshaft etc. etc. etc. brakes its pretty much up to you. Why are you wondering what to get after when you currently dont have the money for the kit??? dont get to far ahead of yourself there sport it will come in time.

thanks guys seriously, but look at it from my perspective, you ask a serious question, at a place created for this sole purpose, and you dont get a straight answer, then others jump to the conclusion that im the asshole, cause i didnt come here to play childish games, but to get shit done, and somehow I become an asshole, and a "stupid" rich kid, which both dont have anything to do with me. But hey, i put my five cents in, i can care less about respect from people who dont respect me. If i cant get help from someone, theres always someone else who is willing, then respect is built. now with all the hostility aside, I want to learn about turbos and what an engine needs to work with one, were can i get this info, or any other info that has to do with performance upgrades etc. cause i do use google and i dont get the answers im looking for, maybe im using the wrong keywords, any suggestions.
