1993 Help!

This car has 71,000 miles and he is asking $3,350 usd for it worth it? On the hood its a reflexion of something not paint the car is mint inside and out:
http://inventory.autotrader.com/inve...dealerId=66600

What i want to do is tint, lower, rims, and headunit, (maybe different intake and the hp chip) &&& Get the wood molding for the inside
What do you think of that car please let me know asap

BUT i got questions i dont know much about cars!!
To get it lowered what will i need to do and get because i know there is some air thing that changes the car up and down (no clue of how it works so if someone could explain that to me) Could i control it of how much it goes up and down?? If so could i make it go low??
&
How are the cars in the winter??

Re: 1993 Help!

slammed is lowered. Just some "street" term like crunked.

The cars suck 100% in the winter. You can lower the car w/o buying parts but I dont know how. And for 3500$ its a great deal.

Re: 1993 Help!

With any slight incline or hill you try to go up, sicne there is no weight in the rear all you do is spin. Sometimes you even have to get someone to push you up the hill. I have michelin's on mine, I forget what style tire but they do have agressive tread and still all it does is spin.

For the lowering. Read back on some old posts, I remember reading it somewhere what to do. You have to adjust the ride height gauge or something.

For the body kit, Ive never seen nor heard of one for the Mrk 8's.

Also a very common problem with mrk 8's is the airbags stop inflating after a while. Its not granted that you will have the problem but alot of the cars do. I replaced my airbags with coil overs upfront and springs in the back. While doing the springs I found the sway bar to be rusted in 1/2 and broke off in my hand. Also I need new shocks but once thats done hopefully my car wont jump side to side when your hitting bumps or going around courners.

I came across this website http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/tec...nsor-Lowering/

Will this work anyone ever use it? What size rims would you put on it then if i do this im thinking 18s or 20s??

What i am thinking of the winter, The do a very good job here with plowing , so with the rims that come with it i am going to get good winter tires on them, so i will on use them in the winters and the new rims will go on in spring, summer ect

Re: 1993 Help!

My friend said it looked like a blue penis. I say tint the windows and get some rims on it. I wouldnt put a body kit on it buecasue thats just me. Also some might call you a ricer or some stupid bs like that. With 280hp and 285 tq or something around those #'s you can blow all those so called "ricers" from your school away. Thats exacatly what I do when I get to drive it. And the people that say the car is ugly and are just jelous that you have such a nicer car. I get things like that said about my 88 caddy all the time, then I watch them go get into daddys toyota carolla.

Re: Re: 1993 Help!

If you are only 16, I would suggest looking at something else. For some odd reason, insurance companies consider this a sports car and you are going to pay out the ass. You should go to the Lincolns of Distinction message board. It is a lot more active. Just my .02 and good luck
