top litre bike according to the poms
i read in a recent magazine, that the CBR1000RR is the best all round litre bike. Up against the R1, ZX10, GSXR1000 and the new MV 1000.
all the journos thought it was the easiest to ride fast and gave you the confidence to ride faster than the others.

Re: top litre bike according to the poms
Every Magazine i read seems to give me a different opinion, so i've given up believing any of them really
not dead - just in a state of depression, wishing i had money for a bike or car...

Pretty much magazines are all relative, in which presonal preference will bcreate the top bike each person. The 2005 GSX-R1000 will be ten pounds heftier to GSX-R600 and might boast as much as 180 to 200 horses at the flywheel. Track riding the 1000 might go with it's slogan, "own the racetrack" but for riding on public roads, the bike might be too much of handful.

Hey Blayne, don't know if you already know this site or not, but it's an Aussie source providing a thorough review on the bike:

yeah i've seen that site.
i only started this thread because i was surprised that all of the riding journos came back and prefered to ride the CBR as their every day bike. 2005 bikes didn't come into it. its all relative to the journos opinion but normally there would be some favouring one and others disagreeing
