Eclipse Spyder GT 5 Speed Can it beat...?

At my schools, there are some kids with all stock and automatic
6 Cylinder Mustang
6 Cylinder Camero, i think its a 93
8 Cylinder old Camero like early 90's
8 Cylinder Z28 Camero

I think that i could beat the 6 cylinder Mustang and Cameros easily. But i wanna make sure before i put my money and the table and race them

Im pretty sure the 8 cylinder cameros would prolly beat me. But i should be able to keep it in lower gears and rev high, would that help me alot?

I have an 01 Eclipse Spyder GT 5 speed. I have clean shifts and i am really smooth with the clutch. I may not be the fastest shifter, but i can shift fairly fast.

I live in the boonies basically but mite race on the expressway ( 2 lane limited access highway)

I mite buy an Injen CAI also but i did not order it yet.

Currently my car is stock except i took the backseat out and haul nothing extra basically.

you'll kill the 6 cylinders. be warrey of the 8's though

you need to put a year on the V6 mustang.

you definitely won't beat the Z28 camAro

one is an 04 one is like an 00 or 01 these are mustang 6 cylinder automatics

V6 stangs aren't a problem if autos they are very slow
the old school v8 will get you by a little
the Z28 will kill you....
