I feel sorry for whoever owns the boat.

how do you explain that to your insurance company.

"Hello, I need to fill a claim, my boat got hit by a car."

If that was my boat, id untie and pull away from the docks just enough to let the honda go for a swim.

Id hate to be the guy who has to tow that car out of there.

 WHAT?!? It's obviously the boat's fault!!! It must have cut the car off, then dragged it out there!!! If I was driving the car, I'd sue that boat owner for reckless boating!!!

I'm pretty sure in this situation a crane would need to be used to get the car out of there, to avoid damaging the boat and car any further.

the boat won't be too badly damaged, smashed window and superficial scratches.

The car will need to be lifted out of there with a crane as a tow truck wouldn't do the job
