Re: from rice to muscle...now lost

go to fbodymotorsports to look at parts they have pretty much everything. the exhasut do bolt on. teh engine depends on wat u already have. if it is an ls1 u dont need to change the engine. and if it is a manual it is probly a t56 and thta will b fine.

LS1 is the V8 engine and it kicks the V6s ass all over the place.

Your civic can beat whatever we have? I have a 14 year old dog with arthritis in his front left leg...that would be a close race with a 88 civic with 3 working pistons. Can't say it wouldn't be fair either since both of em are only running on "3 legs." Oh man im not just smart, im funny smart. lol.

But cmon for real its a camaro forum. You should expect/deserve coments like this for that All in good fun though haha.

Re: from rice to muscle...now lost

LS1 isn't a direct swap. Need to swap the complete engine and wiring harness, trans, and most suspension. Maybe driveshaft too.
Clogged cat - get yourself a pair of pacesetter headers (best for the v6 camaro, and better wuality than the v8 ones in terms of fit), a high-flow cat, and a magnaflow or rumbler catback.

Re: from rice to muscle...now lost

yeah, with all that is involved in swapping an LS1 into a 3800 equipped car, you would be better off selling the one you have now, and buying a camaro that already had the V8 to begine with.

Re: from rice to muscle...now lost

my guess is he drove the civic, the same reason i drove a 77 oldsmobile, it was the first car we had, and he stepped up to a camaro. Lets give him props for making progress, instead of being dicks about what he drove before.

but i will say, that if you are more into looks, than performance,

A. youre in the wrong subforum
B. check out www.RKsport.com they have lots of aftermarket dress up items for the fourth gen camaros.
