headlight replacement
Have 1989 Legend with damaged headlamp and having problems
getting if removed... any ideas ?

Hey Mark, I have an '88 Legend, 2-door. I had to replace the driver's side headlamp. After purchasing the dealer's book on my car, I found out I had to remove the entire front end of the car (bumper, condensor, etc.). The good news is that it is a fairly simple job with the exception of the parking light which has a spring that can be tricky. Get the lamp, get a book (even though my Haynes manual stated flat out that only the dealer was to replace the lamp, if you have worked on a car before, this will be straightforward) for the bumper, and plan on a weekend of work. It is a long, but simple job.
