2001 Bonneville Crossed Electrical Problem

Not quite sure what do do. While driving and I apply my brake, my reverse lights come on. I have had NO work done on my car to cause that. Can someone please tell what is going on...

I have a similar problem with my 2001 SSEi.

Occasionally, when I first start the car and push on the brake to shift out of park, my left rear turn signal will either come on along steady with the brake lights, or the turn signal will flicker on and off.

When this behavior happens, I have found that if I actually turn my left turn signal on while pressing on the brake that the turn signal will flash very quickly for a couple seconds, then flash normally. The turn signal then no longer comes on with the brakes, and everything seems normal again for a bit.

For me, this is only an occasional thing. Any help?
