Tune up

I am getting ready to get into my S-10 to check the trans mounts. Another question I had was that I recently replaced the plug wires, plugs, distributor cap, rotor and air cleaner. Is there anything else I need to replace while I'm getting dirty? It seems to run fine, but sometimes there is a flat spot in the acceleration. I had the injection cleaned about 3 months ago.

Thanks,

J

Re: Tune up

fuel filter for sure.

And change your differential, transmission and transfer case fluids.

Coolant system flush and fill.

Did you gap the plugs properly?

Re: Re: Tune up

Changed the PCV valve, but not the fuel filter which I bought last night (Duh, I never thought about it). How about the coil? Do they get weaker, or do they just go out all of a sudden?

Thanks,

J

Re: Tune up

Coil could be changed and if tey don't cost a lot I would swap it out.

It is used constantly so it could get weaker with time.
