205/40/17s touching strut.E30 325.

Please help I have purchased a set of wheels with 205/40/17s on them , THE BACKS FIT FINE BUT THE FRONT JUST TOUCH THE STRUT , the wheels previousley came of a E30 318i and I have a E30 325i . Any sugestions on how to sort this out.
