i want a 510!

okay so i love my 240 and all but i was just wondering if anyone else here has an intrest in the datsun 510? i almost bought one insted of my 240, my brother in law has one and it is awesome, quite the fast little car, i think it has like 345 rwh, and a dogleg trannie, anyways anybody else want one of these peices of history?

yeah, 510's are nice quick little cars. i like them. i also the 610 (like the 510 but fastback)

Ya! I love the dimes! I have a 71 dime wagon, mild built L20 with a dogleg, LSD rearend out of a 89 nissan PU, custon axels, lightend flywheel with 280Z (220mm) clutch, lots of other mods as well!

i love 510s.

no matter what new, cool cars the auto industry puts out i will always have atleast one 510 in the garage.

right now i only have one, my 72 racecar project.
built L20b, balanced, heavy cam
dual dell'orto DHLA 40's
2.5" exhaust from the header back
msd dizzy
280z 5 speed trans.
280z 10" vented front discs
280z alternator and starter
larger diameter front and rear swaybars
strut tower bar
lowered (just enough)
roll bar
and a bunch of other mods, the car has more z parts on it than 510 parts

really needs to be painted

the car is insane quick and handles, well . . . like a dime.

to answer your question "does anybody else want one of these peices of history?"
yes . . .or two or three . . . .i love 510s
