Help! oil leak

I have a 2000 hatch w/ JDM H22a, there is oil leaking, there is oil all over near the solenoid. Also it seems that the oil only leaks at higher rpm 4-5000+. Can anyone tell me what is up. The vtec also has been kicking in wierd, it pulses before it kicks in all the way but sometimes it doesn't kick in at all. What do i need to fix? It's really hard to tell where the oil is leaking from.

find the leak and replace whatever gasket/o ring there is and it will stop the leak

Re: Help! oil leak

Sounds like the camshaft seal that is behind the VTEC solenoid is leaking. Replace it and then make sure your oil is full, if you are low on oil the VTEC solenoid may not engauge, remember that VTEC works off oil pressure, if the pressure is low then no VTEC.
