turbo or not?
ok i have seriously tried EVERYTHING that came to mind to search for this if you dont want to explain it and have ideas what i could type to search for but i cant think of any more...... but my question that i cant find the answer to is my friend asked me today how you could tell an 1st gen RS or GS from a 1st gen GST or GSX??? i have a 2 gen GST so i dont know how to tell he 1st gens apart i know you can look at the gauges and look for a intercooler but is there any other ways you can tell without popping the hood, can you tell but just looking at the car??

not really. you can tell the awds because you can see the rear diff in the back, but the only way you can tell the fwd turbos is to look at the guages or look for a intercooler. they do have badging on the back but a lot are shaved and the badging is weird on 1g's

on a 1st gen gst it actually just says ECLIPSE GS, just like the GS, but under it, in really small letters it says DOHC 16V TURBO. The GSX says GSX

gs-turbo and gsx has same fan style wheels but the front and rear bumper is different between the them.
the gas tank in the gsx is below the spare tire and the gs-turbo is located under the rear seat. rs has hubcaps also like the dl model. thats all i can remember right now.

im guessing you can also tell if you hear a bov when they blow by ya... well wait you got a gst they prolly dont blow by ya but still.. u know..
