4 Golf III has hot start problems

1994 Golf III s giving me starting problems after it has been driven for a while. It has also completely stalled traffic once I finally get it sarted after a cool down.

Mechanic has replaced distibutor cap, ignition coil, starter and now a fuel pump and still same problem.

Could this still be a temp sensor problem as some people seem to have had in similar situations?
