gst v. gsx

I might be getting a 1st gen gs-t, so im checking out parts for it. But I keep seeing all the sweet stuff only for the gsx. Besides being AWD, how is it different, and shouldn't like a downpipe and exhaust fit on either one? Here's an example: On modacar.com an Apexi 3" downpipe is only for the gsx. For the gs-t i can only get a pacesetter 2.5". why wont the apexi fit??

Re: gst v. gsx

weird, if it was the otherway around I would guess that the 3" wouldnt fit the GSX cuz of the drivetrain setup, but......

I know as far as engines/bodies go they are the same, suspension should be the same, I bet they both fit either. could be one requires a different bend in the rear to pass over the rear axle shaft, and one company does that and one doesnt...

Re: gst v. gsx

the gas tank is in a diferent place the spare is in a different place and the rear suspension is different. the gsx exhaust might fit a gst but it would hang weird and you would need custom hangers. im sure you can find a 3 inch for a gst did you check all the sites in the faq?
