Why Not Air Shocks in Rear for 1" Lift?
As a lame backyard mechanic, it seems easier to me to bolt in a couple of air shocks than mess with taking apart leaf springs to put in an add-a-leaf.
I only want one inch in back (I plan on cranking torsion bars for the inch in front). Everyone talks about shock mounts not being designed to handle the extra load, but whatta bout only an inch??? Also, any way to tell if my torsion bars have ben cranked yet? The truck has 32" tires. Thanks, Barry |
