tire question..

does anyone have tires that are wider and/or lower than the 205/55/R16 ?? [1992-1995]

for example: 215/50/R16 or 215/45/R16..

im unsure if they'd be too wide.. i don't
want to order them and have them not fit.

thanks..

You shouldn't have any problems getting a wider tire to fit (225 or 215)... A 225/50 would be roughly the same height as your 205/55.... where a 215/50 will be slightly wider & slightly lower. Although, I'd doubt you'd notice any difference in ride height, just the look on the wheel.

I wouldn't go any smaller than 50 series if you want a decent ride... smaller side walls tend to ride rougher. Unless you go to a higher doller michellen.

Whats the end result you're after... shorter, wider, better handling, ride, look...etc.

You might be better off going to a 17in wheel... that'd give you the large wheel look with the shorter sidewall & can keep your overall diameter close so your speedo isn't that far off. Not to mention, lighter aftermarket wheels will handle better and give more "Pep" on the starting line.

Just some food for thought.
