ok...need some major help with this turbo...

i posted a thread a while ago about my friend giving me a turbo and he thought it was a small 16g...well from what people have told me it's like a 13 - 14g or somethin...anyway i was talking to my friends mechanic and he said that the turbo my friend gave me does have a tad bigger turbine and it DOES pull noticeably harder than the t25...now since i don't have my t2small off of my car, i can't really compare the t25 to the turbo my friend gave me. the turbo my friend gave me has TD04 on the side of it and a few people told me it's roughly the same size as a t25 if not smaller.....so why would it pull harder and spool around 3200rpms? (that's what the mech told me)...should i waste my time and stick this turbo on my car or what? i have all the needed hardware that this turbo needs to bolt on to my car also...
