Re: Honda Civic Type R

Well being from Brooklyn I am sure he knows we cant go to the local Honda dealer and pic up a Type R. Being this is the 01+ forum I am assuming he means the SI. In 2002 the SI Type R got revamped for a 30th anniversary in Japan. Being not much different fromt he one here. It came with a momo wheel, recaro seats, and different trim. Just like the standard civics in 04 it got revamped with new heads and tails, lighter flywheels and 2 tenths of a sec were shaved off the 1/4 mile. As for memebers here no one has a type R 7th gen civic. The members with SI's that I have seen just started hooking them up with intakes and exhausts.

If they were available in the U.S. they would cost more than $29,075 (converted from the British Pound). For that price, they better be fast enough to make you soil yourself when merging on the freeway.
However if it came turbocharged from the factory, it probably would scare the sh*t out of you.
