Hello All! Sorry for the long winded post!
I have been building models off and on for 15 years. A friend bought a model car which refueled my interest in model building. He bought me a '66 Mustang Shelby GT 350 made by Revell. I have been visiting some websites to get some ideas on the details of interior work and on of them used model flocking to simulate real carpet. I went to the hobby shop and bought a bag of black flocking. On the directions it says to either use a sifter or just pinch out some and spread it around. The former is the method I used and it didn't work very well at all. The flocking just seemed to clump up. I think if I had a sifter it would make the job very easy. What type of sifter is the manufacturer talking about? Are there any other ways of appling the flocking? Any advice would be most appreciated! Vapor Trail |
