Crazy thought, but V6 RC SIlverado vs. 02 RSX S

I had this really strange thought so I might as well ask it. Could a stock manual v6 silverado hang with an RSX S?

No, I don't think it would stand a chance. I thought you had the RSX S in the street racing section. I'll edit it. Try it anyway, you never know.

NICE 1/4 mile times, Slow.. How smooth did the engine swap go? I miss my truck..never did get to do everything I wanted with it. Let me know what kind of HP numbers/Torque you are getting when dyno'd sometime. Looks like I am going to get a GTO or Evolution RS or MR when I return home from the Mideast.. (Can get either for around 27-30k, and they both look awesome in their own way..)

The RSX type S belongs to a friend of mine and I have the truck.

Can't you add headers, pulleys, and exhaust on the truck and then beat the RSX S?

Thanks, man. Yeah, the swap was very straight forward. Everything off of the 4.8L bolted right up to the 6.0L. I'm going to get away from work one day and drive up to Memphis and strap it down. The GTOs are bad! There was a company at the shootout that had one "slightly" modified running a mid 10 all day. It was a beast!

Re: Crazy thought, but V6 RC SIlverado vs. 02 RSX S

I think the GTO has alot of potential with the engine it has, and just how sweet the interior looks from my POV. Itll be a bit of time, so I am looking into aftermarket parts for it, and the 05's HP increase with the LS2. Looking sweet.. the AWD and the Evolution.. as much as I hate to go import.. it just looks like too good of a performance deal to be true almost.

Re: Crazy thought, but V6 RC SIlverado vs. 02 RSX S

if there is a car that is stock and faster than a new GTO that is anywhere near affordable that would make me The King. Last time i checked i wasn't king but still. The GTO is fine car indeed. GM makes the best sports car motors i have to give a hand to them for the job they did on the new GTOs.
