Re: Deadly Wooble 1999 Grand Cheroke
If you are refering to a death wobble that does not cese till you stop or just near it. My best bets are in this order
1) track bar 2)stabilizer 3) Wheel bearings 4) ball Joints. All of which have been bad on my 89 cherokee, but is expected when you give it the hurting I do. Build, Test, break, upgrade

Check your Steering Stablizer known to go bad. Un bolt it and see if it has any resistance. If good like other post says check Track Bar and Bushings.

I resolved my death wobble by replacing the tie rod ends. Was about150 bucks for parts and I did the labor. Took me about an hour to get install both sides and problem was solved. As always, make sure you spray some penatrating oil on whatever you work on the night before, makes taking rusty nuts off a lot easier

solve the problem before you replace the steering stablizer. replacing that only helps hide the real problem.

I Took The Vehicle To
Local Collage They Lift The Car. They Check For To Much Play At The Front Wheels They Said Joints Are Ok. I Dont Know If They Can Also Diagnose The Bearings With This Procedure. They Look At The Stabilizer And They Saw Fluid And Tehy Told Me To Replace That.
