sunfire+RS=flashing airbag light

last week i installed a remote starter on my 2000 sunfire. everything went fine, and it worked. but a few days later, i notice the airbag light flashes on start up, but goes away after a few seconds. now it flashes everytime, whether by key or by remote.

any way i can fix that?

if it goes off after a few flashes then it may be testing itself. Not sure what the problem is if it doesn't stay on. I'd just leave it alone.

i dont remember offhand what yrs were on recall but i do know the drivers air bag was under recall for self deployment and the air bag light flashed on and off occasionally on the problem ones untill the recall was taken care of

Did you connect BOTH accessory wires? I know that if you don't, it will cause some gauges/lights do funky things.
