Honda's new K20a2 Motor
Has anyone heard of this besdies me? i recently read a review of this new motor and they boast that it's better than the h22?? starting out with 200hp and can fit into a 4th gen EF..? They come in a displacement of 2.0 liters and 2.4 liters.. if anyone else know or has heard of this.. i'd like to hear about it... besdies this article.

K20a2? Is that some kind of slang the kids are using these days; Kronic, 20 bag at 2 o'clock?
Or maybe the motor from a Chevy K-20 truck? What is this K20a2 you speak of?

k20a2 is the 2.0 liter engine in the RSX-S...k20a1 is the motor in the base RSX and civic Si rated at 160hp. For 2005 the RSX-S has been bumped up to 210hp.

ok woah woah woah before this goes any further.....
k20a = jdm civic type-r integra type-r 220hp k20a2 = rsx-s 02-04 200hp 2005 210hp k20a3 = rsx base and civic si 160hp k24's = honda crv 160hp and tsx 200hp the engines are more reliable than pervious honda engines, they have been tested at just under 10,000 rpms on stock internals

i stand corrected, it is a k20z1, i thought it was strange that it would have the same engine code as the a2 and i did some more research and here is some interesting info

my sisters accord has a K24 as well, and the early 240's had the KA24E, didnt always come with dual cams.
