any good songs for a mix cd for a new girlfriend?
i need some ideas for good songs for a mix cd for my new girlfriend, we have only been together for a couple of months but i am really into her. i know people do this all the time and i have done it a couple of times myself but i just thought i might get some outside input of songs that have worked for others. thanks

What I did with my gf, on our one year anniversary, I made a CD with all these songs that told of how I felt about her and how much I loved her. I then made a little lyric booklet on the computer and had all the lyrics from the songs in it, also a couple poems, quotes, pictures of us, etc.. and then I bought a cd jewel case and made a front and back cover. Hope that helps, as far as songs... just pick the ones you like.

i can think of tons of songs that are "heartfelt" i made a bunch of those for my ex while we were dating.

You want my advice? I think it's a dumb idea, I'm sorry but if I were a girl and I got a CD full of half-arsed (Or even whole-arsed) Romantic/soppy songs, I'd think it was cheesy WAY before I thought it were sweet.
Just get her a CD of songs that she likes, that way she's happy and you don't look like a right dork.

Personally I'd do things like orchestrals... they're pretty and no words are nessecary so it's not particurally embarrassing. Romeo and Juliette has a few good ones and whatnot.
