![]() I filled in all the sink holes, and filled in the incorrect body lines, now I need to scribe the new body line. The rims are supposed to be 17" (according to the size on the tire) but are much bigger then the box-stock 10-spoke wheels, which are also, supposed to be 17's. These are probably 20's. They look like Torq Thrust's, but look like Boyd Cottingtons, or they could be Thom Taylor, since thats where i got them from (Thom Taylor Vette Agin)

Re: 2002 Camaro SS In Progress
Is this another one that you are building?
That Avalanche in the backround is hot. Is it diecast?

Re: 2002 Camaro SS In Progress
updates: I Actually broke one of the Z06 rims. BAH...so heres what i did..
The wheels for the Camaro (stock) have an inner and outter wheel. The inner wheel prevents you from seeing the brakes etc. I took the retainer/clips from the C-5 5-Spokes, and glued them on the axles. Then I glued on a a pair of 15" Drilled AND Slotted disc brake set, then i glued the outter (chrome) wheel onto the brake.

Re: 2002 Camaro SS In Progress
nice work on the rims. All i did was paint the raised circular piece to make it look like it has brakes.

Re: 2002 Camaro SS In Progress
I wasa building a model recently and it didn't have brakes so i just made some out of flat styrene and painted them and it looks pretty nice and like it actually has brakes. I would have liked the Z06 wheels better on it but that is a VERY nice look with the big brakes behind the wheels.
