Water in Trunck and Trunck latch
Two issues.
1. I pulled my spare tire out the other day and noticed that a large amount of water had accumulated in the area where the spare sits. Has anyone had any issues with the trunk leaking. I guess it could be coming from anywhere but the rest of the trunck is dry. I tried to soak some of it up and I guess I'll see if it fills up again, but was curious if anyone else had had a similar issue. 2. I have been having a difficult time getting the trunck to latch and stay shut. It doesn't pop open on its own its just an issue when closing it. Any thoughts. Thanks |

Re: Water in Trunck and Trunck latch
Was it bumped from the rear by another car? It sounds like from what you are saying is that the trunk does not seal itself at times. Do you use the trunk once in a while or daily?

Once in a while, I wasn't bumped from the rear either.

Re: Water in Trunck and Trunck latch
Hi I just last week purchased 2 (2001) Auroras one is the 4.0 and one a 3.5 both were found with a significant amount of water in the trunk--looks like I will be going in with a flashlight shining from underneath---any other suggestions? Thanks
