Oil Cooler Lines
I just bought a 93 s-10 Blazer for my kid to knock around in. One of the oil cooler lines leaks> How much of a pain are they to fix? Can we just remove the whole assembly and put a filter on the block like a normal vehicle?

Re: Oil Cooler Lines
It's not to bad. I can never get my mouth right with the flare nut fittings that's the hardest part. Also going to the dealer is a hard thing for me todo also.

Re: Oil Cooler Lines
You have to use the remote lines. A normal filter will not fit.

Re: Oil Cooler Lines
You can take of the bypass then remove the filter mount from the bypass then bolt it to where the bypass went.
