Re: turbo!!!?

for less than 300 wheel use an S15 T28. all you need is the TAKA lines, the rest is the same as a T25

thats a good start but Id bypass the E-Manage and go to a stand alone

Re: turbo!!!?

Skip the Emanage and use a SAFC or something. use some SR injectors. They are plenty big enough. Why internal wastegate? you would be much better off using a external. R.W. I would say stand alone but he's on a budget and 280 doesn't exactly call for that kind of engine control. Sizing the turbo is probably what you should concentrate on right now. Learn how to read compressor maps and turbo details. Good luck.

Re: turbo!!!?

if i use the safc would i NEED a msd btm for timing?... or is it reliable enough to retard it with just a gun and a friend that knows how to do it...

and id preffer going with a stock turbo from like a300zx or talon ( and they usually come internally dumped right?) for price issues... is there any that would get me to my hp goals?

thanx

Re: turbo!!!?

most turbos that come stock on any car are more than likely going to have an internal wastegate no matter what kind of car it came from...there are the exceptions but this holda true w/ 95% of all turbos from cars that come factory w/ a turbo...you can buy a block off plate and add an external to your system tho pretty easily
