Re: 18's?

You can put 18'z on with out a drop but the problem is that ur car will look lifted. You may need a chamber kit for tire ware. With out a drop it looks gay. The tiregap is crap. Look at my sig thats just with 17's

Re: 18's?

I have 18's on mine. They fit just fine. I'd put 19's on em' if it didn't drop performance levels.

It does look a little lifted, but I like the agressive stance it has.

Can you tell me what the chamber kit does. I'm a little naive on the subject.

so in terms of performance, 18's are the optimum diameter? or are 17's?

Re: 18's?

Yes our gap looks gay. Have a look at my sig. I have got 17s with 215/40/17. 18s will make the gap bigger.

ok so it may look nasty if ya dont drop it, but lets say you put 18's on... is there enough PRACTICAL room to drop it and make it look good? or is it just not worth it because the amount of drop would be nothing...?

Re: 18's?

i think the tire size can really help gap levels.. my car has 17's with 215 50 17 kuhmos and while there still is a fair amount of gap i dont think its to outragous. i find that the oversized tire works well on my car as it sits.. i havent really had any problems with rubbing and i think it does a great deal for gap.

I got 17's and they are fine. The gap is kinda big, ppl tell me to drop it all the time, but im not gonna get some gay coilover. Im gonna wait and do the suspension all at once; Need time to save up, suspension is pretty expensive.

Well, smaller wheels are lighter (depending on the brand). I prefer a bigger wheel (18's) for looks, and I really don't see why I would get wheels only an inch bigger than stock. I also like the fact that I can get a wider tire with the bigger wheels for a little more stability compared to stock. 18x8 - I've even seen 18x9 So really its all about you, and what you want.

Love it. Looks really good lowered. I plan on lowering, but its really far down on the list of priorities for my clips.
