Eagerly awaiting the Viper SRT-10....

I've been keeping my eyes open for one of the new Revell Viper SRT-10 kits, which were, according to R-M.com, released September of this year. I have yet to find a single box on any shelf, including some stores that are pretty good for getting new releases. I checked ehobbies... they list it as "out of stock" but then say that they'll be getting them May 2005. That's a long way away.

I'm just wondering if anybody has seen any of them on the shelf at their local hobby shops. Or is it not yet released? I have yet to see anybody build one here, and I would expect to see a lot of them.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you gonna hafta wait a while, its not going to be released until April now. For some unknown reason Revell pushed all there new released back, and not just a couple months. The Honda CRX is'nt coming out until Oct' 05 now. The 05 Mustang is know May, which they better hurry up becouse Polar Lights is releasing there 05 Mustang in February, which is going to hurt the sales of Revell's kit. I've about given up on Revell, I have no clue the reason why it takes them so long to release kits

Thanks for the info. I gotta say I suspected it with Revell's recent track record. They're new release page on the website hasn't been updated for over a year, probably.
