Interior door panel

Does anybody know exactly how to get the interior door panel off a passanger side door in a '95 bird? I would like to know before I break it.

Re: Interior door panel

pull off the plastic piece that the door lock and window buttons are on, and theres a screw underneath that holding it to the actual door... then pop off the courtesy light cover on the bottom, and theres a screw under it too. once you have removed those 2 screws lift up on the panel and pull it towards you. You can push the door lock panel through the hole in the door panel, rather than unscrewing all those pieces. ( i know it seems obvious, but I did it the first time, lol) and thats it. If you like customizing your interior, that will give you a perfectly good opportunity to spray paint your speaker grilles. if you remove the stupid piece that is wedged in behind the speaker grille, then you can see your door speakers which looks good if you have replaced, or are replacing your 5x7s. I put the pioneer 6x8 3 ways in there and painted my grilles black and it looks pretty slick. that is also a good opportunity to put some lights up above the speakers behind the grilles... thats what i did, and its just phat. my backseat grilles i left brown but recoated the grille cover in black velour, and its pimpin. n e ways, i think i answered ur question. let me know if that works for you. my car is a 96 but i think they should be the same.
