racing seats gone too high

i put in racing seats i got from a swap meet brand new 250$ i had to do it...anywho i put them in and if youve seen the floor in a 86 camaro or any year range for that matter its not exactly flat well alls said and done i sit at least 2" higher (im guessing alot more padding in the ass)..anyone else encounter this problem with installing their seats?? any ideas how to get those lower?

yeah I know how u fell because i'm 6'4" and i have a 86 z28 and 2" in the seat makes hard to see. So i cat the mounts an inch and welded it back up.
