My friend has 1995 sl1 that i am workin on for him it is 5 speed with 110000 miles on it, While driving it searches for an idle speed when warm and cold and when it is warm and if reved to about 3-5,000 rpms it comes back down only to just about stahl and then kick back to a rough idle. We are planning to replace the vavle cover gasket and spark plugs and wires this weekend. Also the dash seems to make a vibration noise that we can not locate?
any help or suggestions is much appreciated.

part of the crazy idle is a normal part of the programming with the 5-speed PCM, but a part of it may be a bad ECT(do a search for ECT here), and another part may be carbon build-up in the throttle body, if so spray it clean with sensor-safe carb and choke cleaner.
