LX and GT
Whats the diff between an LX and a GT and all other models...trim,engines,etc.

lx has a 1.9l engine The gt has a 1.4l engine with dohc has a fancier body kit. the one I looked at had rear whell disc as well while the lx all have rear wheel drum. Gt is a much spotier faster version

1.4? lol escort never had smaller then 1.6l and the GT has a 1.8 dohc vs the lx's 1.9 sohc

Depends on the year. There are 3 generations of escorts, they dont all have the same motor.

yep those answers are correct, lx is a ford motor 1.9 SOHC that has 88hp. and the gt is a mazda motor 1.8 DOHC with 127. ive had both engines and if you have a choice, get the GT

Gen 1 LX is rated for 90, and GT for 110.
