What the hell is a gazelle?

I know that the gazelle is some form of silvia(or at least logic would lead me to think this). I know that in europe, the silvia was called a 200sx (due to its engine displacement), but what country was the gazelle from? for some reason the name leads me to guess its austrailia? oh well...just curious.

yep. Gazelle was a version of the S12 Silvia sold in Japan. do a google.
