How much is the insurance on your car???

My car is under my moms name and its $125 a month and i asked the lady why is so much because my cousin got a 2003 Corvette Z06 and he pays $100, she said becasue they stoped makeing these cars the parts are very expensive and is one of the most stolen cars. The other intresting thing was that she said they rate the car by a number 1 to 9 the higher the number it is more expensive, and are car is a 9. But she said there is 9 with *, thats for like 911TT and BMW 745Li and very high expensive cars.

I am just wondering how much do u guys pay for your insurance???

YO, where the F*$# do you live? $125 for a VR4 is a lot to you? And a freakin Z06 is $100...holy crap I'm movin to wherever you are lol. I pay $250 a month for my SL (full coverage), and that's the best I can get b/c my family has been w/ the insurance company for a long time. If I switched it would be upwards of $350 a month. I would be in heaven if my rates were that low lol.

Re: How much is the insurance on your car???

I calle several insurane places when I was looking into buyig a TT stealth. The brokers who would find time to breathe would say anything from 9-10 thousand a year for liability. I cried and moved on.

Re: How much is the insurance on your car???

9-10k for liability only is bull crap. The only possible way is if you lived in Louisiana, are under 19, a male, and had a shit load of tickets/accidents.

I live in Iowa and with 2 vehicles I pay like 705/6 months. I'm 23 with 1 ticket on my record. (which falls off at my renewal -- yay)

Re: How much is the insurance on your car???

/\ I was 17 at the time, with a G2 ( I live in Ontario...Canada that is) and I don't have a year's driving experience in accordiance to the law. So insurance for any vehicule was ball-breaking.

Re: How much is the insurance on your car???

19 y/o male in Louisville, KY. No wrecks, no speeding tickets.
Full coverage (under my family): $545 every 3 months = $2180 a year = the high cost of driving a 3S. I have a $500 deductible.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
