Engine Swap ???'s

Hey All!! I know that doing a L67 swap into a pre 97 Grand Prix is becoming common place but I am wondering if anyone has done a LS1-7 engine swap into a pre 97 GP and was successful with it. I am looking into options for a good street legal powerhouse...and for some reason 300 Ponies isn't making me too happy for base HP!! LOL
