engine types?
Is the higher up the letter ( B is higher than A and so on and so on...) of the engine mean that it will give out more horsepower? Im just wondering. and if anyone who reads this and is running a turbo on an h22a engine can u tell me how much boost ur running and what all mods u have done to ur engine to make it turbo friendly? Im looking at getting a GReddy turbo, or that comprable, and putting it on my stock h22a and then building up the internals and rest of the car so I really need t know EXCATLY what to do! all comments welcome thank you

Re: engine types?
The letter designates what type of engine block is used. I've heard of "B" series blocks, "D" series, "H" series and "K" series. There is no particular order as far as which series puts out more hp. "B" series puts out more hp than "D" series, "H" series put out more hp than "D", Some "B" series put out more than some "H" series...and some "H" series put out more than some "B" series, there is no sequence.
I don't have FI, but from what I've read here you can run up to 8 psi on stock internals. |

You need sleeves, pistons, rods, and depending on boost level you may need turbo cams, springs, retainers....and a hell of a lot of tuning.

Re: engine types?
They are just families of engine blocks. I think it its fairly chronological, with A being the earliest one up through K. Of course, this theory is faulted by the fact that there was (not to my knowledge) never an E, G, I, or J series block.
Unless you count the EB/EJ/ES carburated blocks as E series blocks I guess.
