RX-7 vs Supra

ok i want to get either an 1994/5 RX-7 or the newest year supra.
i have the money for both of them but i dont want to buy both because one of them will be the daily driver to school and work. but i want to make a nissan 240sx s15 conversion and make it into a drift car. but if i have money left over i might tune up the daily driver and maybe take it to the drag. give an honest opion i know im putting this into the mazda section but im going to but one of these like this one into the toyato section

Re: RX-7 vs Supra

sounds like some BS to me... you'll need like 30 grand to buy both of those cars, and if you want a 240 with a full S15 conversion thats crazy expensive too... you said you need it to go to school and work, most people in school don't have 30 grand to dump on 2 cars... but whatever... just buy a porsche or something and you'll have a nice fast car that you can always depend on

Re: RX-7 vs Supra

get the 240 to daily and then mod the rx7. if you're dead set on dailying the sports car, get the supra b/c it will last longer. but if you really have the cash to spend it, a properly modded FD will totally whoop ass on a comparably modded supra.

I like the RX-7, but that's because they're cheeper(used), but yeah if you can afford a Supra go for it. I wouldn't but the 240SX either it would be to much for the conversion, and they're becomeing the "new Honda" so I think you should just buy the Supra and get some mods for it and if you really want a project car buy a cheep one and don't rice-out the supra either.

Re: RX-7 vs Supra

We all just wish we could afford a Supra. I would choose a Supra if I had the money. RX-7 is just a car for the poor people.
