Bolts on motor mount

I need some help. This is the second or third time the bolts on my motor cradle have broken. I'm not a crazy driver going over curbs and stuff, and we have no idea what's going on. Has anyone else had problems with this? It's a 2000 Cavalier automatic. Please someone help me!

Re: Bolts on motor mount

are you putting them in yourself? If you use cheap bolts and/or torque them incorrectly it could cause them to prematurely break. If a dealer or other garage is doing it, ask them what the hell they're doing, you shouldn't be going through 3 sets of them.

Thank you for the responses. We've had the same place fix it every time so I think perhaps they're the ones messing up. We're doing it ourselves this time (if my father can fit underneath the car that is...)

Again, thank you guys for the feedback. That last message finally convinced my father what I've been telling him since this started: THIS ISN'T MY FAULT. :-)
