Programming
When
remote transmitter added or replaced
system malfunction
How
Note: Entering new remote transmitter codes will erase old codes. All remote transmitters must be programmed together

Ensure ignition switched OFF
Access data link connector (DLC) driver's side fascia
Jump DLC terminal 1 to ground

Within 10 seconds: switch ignition fo ACC posistion and then back to OFF position three times

Doors should lock and unlock to confirm registration mode

Press and release remote transmitter LOCK button

Within ten seconds: press remote transmitter LOCK button twice

Doors should lock and unlock to confirm registration

If registering two remote transmitters, within 1 minute carry out button procedure for second remote.

I recently went through this process, keep term 1 grounded until you are done. Exit registration mode by removing term 1 to ground and/or switching ignition to ON

hope this helps.
