HEEEEELLLPPP 93 Dakota 3.9 Magnum Can`t start it

HELP PLEASE.
93 dakota will not start. I had it on scanner "NO CODES". I tested the fuel pump, its good. Fuel pressure is good. Tried to spray the starting fluid directly into the barrels , it doesn`t start.
I then had amechanic check it. he was puzzled also. I replaced plug wires, coil, distributor cap, rotor, coil, computer, battery, and I took out the kill switch that was leftover from the alarm system. I also replaced ignition switch and all of the fuses as well as pick up coil.
My mechanic and I spent 1\2 a day tracing the problem and we finaly have figured out that everything is working the way it is supposed to except there is no spark coming to the sparg plugs and the coil.

Please help if you might know what 2 do. Any comment might be the one that helps me fix the problem..

Thank you. You can also e-mail me directly to [email protected]

Check your wiring harness. The GenII's are known for corrroded harnesses. I had it happen on my '93 4x4, did the same thing you did, replaced everything I could think of and nothing worked. Took it into a mechanic and he figured out that the harness was corroded, replaced it and all was good again

Don't know about the 93, but I had an '88 before my newer '99 and I had a distributor pickup under the rotor. I had the same problem, went through pretty much the same thing only to find out that was the problem. Believe me though, I am by no means a mechanic - just learned with the 88. Well, anyway, I had a real hard time with that pickup, it kept going bad on me. Might be worth a look....

well I did it. I fixed it!!!!!!!!!

Guess what it was. Stupid $5.00 auto shutdown relay that I told the mechanic to check out, and he told me that those do not go out. HA HA HA. I took the Voltmeter and checked the continuity of the relay and found some confusing results, so I replaced the relay and the truck(my baby) started right a way. needless to say I am changing the mechanic. The only reason I have a mechanic is for a bigger problems and because they have specialty toos that I do not want to spend money on buying.

Well guys Thank you very very much for suggestions, and I hope that the solution that I got for my car might help others in the future.
