Exhuast System
Can't decide what Company I want for my 2000 GSR...Looking for a nice deep mellow sound, not to loud at low rpms. Heard Tanobe, Comptech, and Thermal were good...Need advice or info for other good companies.

welcome to AF..if u don't want too loud at low rpm's then it's best that u go with n/a mufflers, where as it is not a staright pipe design like the APEXi N1 etc, but then you could get a N1 with silcencer tip which will cover out a lot of sound until 3500rpm, so what I'd suggest it, if u don't want too loud at low rpm, get a good branded n/a exhaust like from 5 zigen., tanabe, greddy, RS*R/Skunk2, etc just get the one that u think has the best deal...and of coz..it's best avice that u ask the shop first to check if it's quiet or not..cause i know from their experience, they knwo more then most of us here cause i'm sure they had experienced all kinds of mufflers etc.

I've heard Tanabe Racing Medallion and Thermal are some of the loudest.
Greddy SP , Apex WS, Comptech are the more quiet and of the spectrum. Correct me if I'm wrong guys. Good luck w/ you search |

My friend has the Tanabae RM, and I love the sound of that cat. Very clean deep tone.
