Skunk2 vs Z Speed Racing Front Camber Kit

Anyone have thoughts on which one to get? I am not looking for anything fancy, just something to adjust the front camber anytime I get a wheel alignment done. I do not have coilovers, but have lowered the car 2". I have adjusted the rear camber with the washer trick. Have them set at -.1 degrees and on the right wheel 0 degrees. I am looking for a camber kit that will replace the entire upper control arm.

I saw this on Honda-Tech, thought it might help. I steer away from Skunk2 now. Good luck.

Re: Skunk2 vs Z Speed Racing Front Camber Kit

it's their valves that are shit. if you can find another thread that complains about their other products than cool, otherwise there's nothing to be worried about with their other stuff. I've never read anything bad about them other than their valves. And the camber kit is on the outside of the car, it's not something inside the motor that will mess up. The worst thing that could happen with a camber kit is it going out of camber.

Perosnally I'd go with Skunk2 camber kit, just based on the fact that I've heard of the company before.

Very well, Skunk2 is out of the question. What about others? No rush, but I would like some advice.

I have a question for you CivicSpoon. Just because you hear of the company doesn't mean they are any good. Look at Enron. Big company, well known. Big time crappy company though. Remember when Honda was coming out decades ago. People thought they were crappy cars, look at them today. I would like more experience rather then hearing of the company.

Re: Skunk2 vs Z Speed Racing Front Camber Kit

Yeah but the difference is that even a decade ago, you heard about how shitty Enron was. And I never heard anything about Hondas being bad, ever.
I have read thread after thread, on many forums, about how great Skunk2 products are. The only product of theirs that I've ever heard negative things about are their valves. I was just making the point (clearly I didn't explain myself enough) that I would never buy a product for my car if I had never even heard of a company. There are far too many companies out there who make knock-offs and poorly manufactured mass production garbage out there. And the chances of a product, from a company I've never heard of, being garbage is very good in this day in age. That's just my thought on things. Which is what you asked for, thoughts on which one to get of those 2.

Re: Skunk2 vs Z Speed Racing Front Camber Kit

A person in the link also complained about a camber kit he bought. He said it pushed up against the wheel weld or something. When he called skunk2 about it, they told him they are making a new one that wont have the same problem.

I never heard anything bad about them before this either, but "screw me once, shame on you. screw me twice, sham on me"

Thank you for the clarification CivicSpoon. I heard that their shocks and struts are decent, so that is why I thought they would be good for camber kits.

Re: Skunk2 vs Z Speed Racing Front Camber Kit

I wouldn't let that 1 story sway you. I've dealt with Skunk2 parts for a while known about them back when they were Skunkworks *only OGs know that*
Theve always made good parts that i trust.
I run one of there rear ties and custom rated coilovers. I have seen there camber kit and it looks nice.

I myself have SPC and works nicely just no bling bling control arms =(

lol...I remember that from way back.

From what I've read, Z-Speed and Skunk2 have had an affiliation from way back in the day. So their products may be similar.
