Engine Swap Question
hey im new to this forum and i own a 93 prelude s....and i was wondering what would better to get...a 96 prelude vtec motor or 97 and up prelude motor...can you please tell me the advantages and disadvantages?

practically the same engine but the h22a on the 5th gen models have just a bit more hp than the 4th gen. i think its like 5

96+ OBDII... Might want to check out JDM... OBDII isn't the best ECU for modding.

I have a 2nd gen lude and a 4th gen lude S. My girlfriend has a 5th gen SH. I personally like the H22a1 (93-96) best. The VTEC is much more pronounced. I think this has something to to with the shape of the head.
Im getting an H23 myself and build it up for turbo. |
