I have 95 Pontiac Firefly. 3 cylinder
Last winter, on a very cold morning (-25C, -13F), I finally got the car started but the throttle was stuck fully open. The car RPM were really high and a crankshaft seal broke. It cost me about 600$CDN to fix the seal and get a block heater installed. The problem is that I don't think anything was done with the throttle and the cold weather is almost back. I there a good lubrication spray that I could use? Thanks |

Re: Frozen Throttle
pb blaster
If its stuck , rusted , wet , dry , working , or not working use pb blaster. this stuff stinks so keep it out of the passenger compartment but use all you want under the hood. I live in upstate NY so I use it on my cables all the time for rust and cold. |
