'92 4Runner Wiring question

I am re-building a '92 4Runner and I am perplexed about where a wire goes. There is a wire about 12-14 inches long that has a big eyelet on one end and a small eyelet on the other end. In the middle of the wire there are one or two connectors that connect to some wires on the driver's side fender well in the area of the coil. Can you look at your truck and try to describe to me how this wire is attached at either end and what it is attached to? It would be awesome if you could help me out. Thanks in advance!
